Do I need an appointment?

Urgent care is commonly designed for walk-in needs. Call the clinic to confirm current visit flow, wait times, and any appointment options.

When should I go to the emergency room instead?

Call 911 or go to the ER for chest pain, severe breathing trouble, stroke symptoms, major trauma, uncontrolled bleeding, severe allergic reaction, or life-threatening symptoms.

What should I bring?

Bring a photo ID, insurance card, medication list, and any paperwork related to school, sports, work, or employer-directed care.

Shafter Urgent Care is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 7 PM, and Saturday through Sunday from 8 AM to 3 PM.
